what do you use for towing?

Hey guys i am going to be pulling a 18ft car hauler with some trucks on it with my 72 4x4 and wanted to know what you all use for hitches?and apperently they are not easy to find anywhere,should i go with a reciever hitch or would maybe a drop bumper work for me?my bumper is shot anyway so i thought i would see what everyone else is useing.pics would be great also.thanx guys

If your 4x4 is at all raised you would be better off w/ a reciever hitch so you
could get the proper drop-hitch so the trailer is not "nose-high". Also, with
just the reciever on the truck you still have most of your ground clearance
for off-road situations. FYI, I have had good luck with Valley brand hitches.

go with a weight distributing reciever hitch. Safer and stronger than a drop bumper. It will also give some reinforcement to the rear frame rails. I tow with a 99 3/4 burb BB and have the hitch rated for 10,000 on it. I tow a 16ft trailer and have had it so loaded it almost dragged..........across country. Have had no failures at all.
Always go bigger so you have some head room towing, when things break towing they break big time.
