HEI External Coil Dust Covers

Perhaps I can solve my delimna on where to mount my external coil if I can find a dust cover for it. Any ideas?

Did you try a local auto parts store? If not, I just looked and Azoned had one available on-line.

I looked on Autozone for several years trucks and Novas and they state a Mallory, but say.."Not Yet Available"

What year did you look under?

I looked up a 77 C-10. I'm wondering if we're talking the same part. Are you looking for the distributor cap cover for a stock HEI?

You mentioned Mallory. I looked at Summit, they had some of the caps with the post for the external coil.

No...I may not have made that clear. I bought a distributor with an external coil a few years ago(not knowing any better). I'm trying to find something to cover the external coil, not a distributor cap.

could always make or have one made out of aluminum and bolts over the coils with small slots for the wires..
