Will a 72 ignition switch work in a 67?

Can anyone tell me if an ignition switch I have from a 72 work in a 67?

If so are bezels different?

Thanks

I am guessing it will as I believe when I ordered my 67 replacement ---- Harmon's catalog said 67-72. I ordered lock set and all.

The 67 ignitions are smaller, but if you grind the dash it might fit??

the switch itself will work, but the bezel and spacers are different. Here is a posting about that in FAQ

67/68-72 ignition swtiches

Re: Will a 72 ignition switch work in a 67?

Your going to have to enlarge your dash hole a bit. The 67's and some or all 68's I think have a 3 position key OFF/ON/START. The Newer 69 & up have 4 position, ACC/OFF/ON/START and the bezel is larger around. I'm wanting to do this to my 67, just have not got around to making it happen yet. Let me know how it goes.

[If I'm wrong on the 68's someone let me know, thanks]

I'm pretty sure you can use the 72 switch with the 67 spacer and bezel if you have them.
