Aluminum Dash Bezel 73-80

I have a brand new, never installed billet dash piece for a 1973-1977 Chevrolet or GMC truck. The piece was purchased from LMC truck and never installed: Part #38-1102. The piece is flawless and ready to install.

I am told that it will fit all 73-80 chevy trucks - maybe someone can shed some light on that...

$75 plus the ride

Man, I'd take it if it would fit an 85. Just my luck...

It looks the same. I wonder where it would be off at.

I trird to put a 73 dash in my 85 just know and see no difference, Of course the wipers are on the dash and the holes for the light switch don't line up. But that part is irrelevant. The upper portion should fit. I'm gonna ask around and I;ll get back 2 ya.

The only thing I know of being different is the turn signal covers. On the earlier 70's the lens covers were arrows instead of circles like that one shows.

They had different splits in the bezel between the different years. No idea if these billet things make a difference or not. Looks closer to an 81+ bezel though, they were solid like that, while the older trucks were split into 3 different little squares.

Well, I got the 73 in , with the exceptions I mentioned. He is right though. I referenced the catalog. You can see the cutout for the gear indicator is made different on all 3 models. Not enough to make a difference, Just different. I think it'll fit.

Yeah e-bay is hit or miss like that. I've heard alot of horror stories. I personally have not bought or sold anything on there. I expected it to bring over the 75 you were asking here though.

I too have seen some crazy buys. I would not sell anything on ebay w/o a reserve.

I think e-bay is a buyers market- It's tough to get a decent buck for any item that has been mass produced.
