check this out

Currently on Ebay, not mine but I thought the description was quite humourous. Comes from dry Colorado where there is no salt on the roads. Very little rust, small amount in kickpanels. No explaination as to how the rockers fell off!

Re: check this out

LOL. No salt, eh? I'm amazed the seat hasn't fallen through the floor.

I'd love to have that car sitting behind it. Looks like a Chevelle from the same era...with the slope of the hood and vent window, suppose it could be a Camaro or Nova...Skylark or Olds.

Re: check this out

Yeah Colorado don't use salt we use gravel and sand that has naturally contains salt. And even worse the DOT uses this nasty liquid that will rust your vehicle 10X faster than regular salt. Colorado Trucks rust differently they typically rust in the rocker area and the cab corners but usually the floors stay good for the most part. My GMC has bad rockers and bad cab corners but good floors and underneath the cab all supports are still in great shape I thought that that was unusual until I seen countless trucks with the exact same rust damage as mine.

Re: check this out

That truck IS unusual -- in 1971, most Blazers were CST equipped. Not only is this NOT a CST, but it was ordered with the very rare "rocker delete" option.

I emailed him a couple of question before the auction ended, bringin' a couple of facts to his attention, maybe he got 1 too many of those questions, you should guys see the email he sent me back, wait, maybe it was his 6 yr old that replied to my email while having a tantrum because that is what it looked like! sheez! you can get some people really worked up when you make them realize they shouldn't be anything anywhere because of their "knowledge"

The rear hatch looks to be in great shape...... I would really like to get a good look at it as it looks to be a great deal if it can be had at the right price..
