BB drive shaft ??

Did an original 72 swb big block truck have a 2 piece drive shaft or one piece? I know the 6 cyl and small V8 trucks had a 2 piece shaft.

They come both ways...single shaft or 2 piece...I am parting a 72 shortbed that had a 402/th400 in it...with a one piece driveshaft..It has a larger tube than the 2 piece...And i had several trucks over the years...they come both ways..

Do you have that single shaft?

I would prefer a single over a double. I am getting ready to rebuild the one I have, but would jump at yours.

Mine has a 6" drop, so it may be tricky, but I am modifying the crossmember now, anyway.
