Alright guys I have found a 1970 chevy swb truck near me with clear title the trucks body is beat up and has the coil spring rear and has a four speed trans. I am wanting to know what the value of this truck would be because the guy want $2000 for it the way it sit. The truck has hole in the rockers cab corners are gone the bed is on its last leg with a hole in cut in the side should I buy it or look else where? I can get pics in needed.

Re: value of 70 chevy swb

does it run? with out pics its hard to say but from what u describe it prob worth 1000-1500 only because short beds are gettin hard to come by. my old 69 wasnt in that bad of shape pretty descent no motor or trans completly needed gone threw and i gave 900 i think. if its worthit to u then its worth the 2000 but if it were me i would show him 1500 cash and see what happens if he dont budge give him your number and tell him when he changes his mind call, my guess is he'll take the cash

By the look of the pics, not worth 2K, even up here in the north country.

If you got it for 250.00, then yes, absolutely that's a smokin' deal.

Re: value of 70 chevy swb

The first truck he was talking about was a 1970. The $250 truck he bought
is a 1969. I think I remember him posting about 2 or 3 weeks ago about
going to look at a truck for price of $250.
