Another New Guy

I've been lurking around the site for a couple months only making a post every now and then but never introduced myself so here goes. I'm an old hotrodder that got his start drag racing an old V8 Vega in Lawton, Ok in the early 80's. Since then there have been several old pickups, Chevelle's, Camaro's, and even a Dodge Dart. I'm now living in McKinney, TX and am in the process of building a new racecar but it's getting me burned out. I bought a 67 SWB and 69 SWB parts truck to play with while I take a break from it. The 67's pretty beat but I like it and have some plans to swap out to lowered 5 lug disc suspension with a new engine and trans. I was lucky enough to get to go to the meet that bobvilla hosted in Dallas yesterday and meet a few other members. Thanks fellas for the deals on the goodies I picked up there and thanks to Bobby for hosting it! Here's a pic of the old 67, bighead

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
