A/C Glove Box Radio

OK due to the response of everyone, got my dues paid and I am NOW a vendor. Don't know for how long, we will see how it goes. So I thought I would post to say that my Glove box thread has been moves to the PARTS BOARD and I am posting some updated pics of a A/C Glove Box. I am waiting for a test fit from another member before its ready, but I thought I would show it anyway.

Re: A/C Glove Box Radio

Kel,

I'm planning to install the radio this weekend so I should have some pics to post next week.

Seriously folks, these glovebox units are AWESOME. They are super solid and easy to install. Kel really did a fine job on them. I've got the AC model and a non/AC model and love them both. One of the best things I've done to my trucks!

Re: A/C Glove Box Radio

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the small rectangular opening for in the photo with everything installed in the glove box?

Re: A/C Glove Box Radio

The opening on the right side is the hole for the CD player. The left side has a strip of velcro on it for the trash/whatever bag to stick to.

Re: A/C Glove Box Radio

My camera work leaves a lot to be desired. I put the velcro on so that I could use the bag to hold the owners manual etc. As AC truck owners know, there is not a lot of glovebox storage.

I should have new pictures after this weekend of the finished unit.

Re: A/C Glove Box Radio

Ok....here are a couple of pics of the finished unit. Again...I apologize for my weak camera work!

I put an IR remote extender on this unit too...just like I put on my CST. Works really nice. 2 Custom Autosound stealth speakers under the seat, 2 Infinity Kappa 6.5 inch speakers in the doors. Pioneer head unit. Sounds great. I put Edead material in the doors and on the floor under the seat as sound deadening. AMAZING difference in the roadnoise! Probably 50% quieter in the cab!
