I want to trade a Ford 10.25 (DANA 70)

I have a huge 10.25 axle for trade with 4.10 gears, brakes and drums, ready to bolt up. I'm looking for a rear end with 5 lug pattern for my hot rod. I'm hoping for a ford 9 inch or GM equivlant? My only question is, are ford and gm 5 lug patterns the same? as this could pose a problem come wheel shopping time.

Thanks guys,

Mike...

The lug patterns are different. You are probably going to want a 10 or 12bolt from a 70's 2wd truck.

A Ford 1/2 ton truck will be 5 on 5.5"

A few ford cars (BIG Lincolns) will be 5 on 5" like our truck's five bolt pattern.
