Wheel Spacers

I think to fit the escalade rims I am going to have to run spacers

Any have any suggestion on these?

Or

Or is it better to scrap this whole plan and just get some thing different?

Re: Wheel Spacers

Take some measurements on the back spacing of the escalade rims and the rims you are presently running and see how much of a differance you have. Ihad to get some 1.5"& 2" spacers for my wheels that came of a 2000 chevy truck. look at this place for some good wheel spacers.

Re: Wheel Spacers

I'm running some thin spacers on the rear of my truck simple cause Chevy liked to tuck the rears inside so much. It's not enough to make the fronts and rears equal, but it certainly helps - looks much better.

The BEST way is to get custom wheels made to exact specs so they fit perfectly. In the real (affordable) world, however wheel spacers aren't a bad way to go. I think the trick is to keep them as thin as possible, though. The thicker you go, to more you're loading your studs and the more likely you'll have a problem. I found that the thin ones (approx. 1/4") are thin enough that you can get away with the factory studs. You gotta make sure you have enough thread engagement!

Re: Wheel Spacers

I had some aluminum ones that cracked and let a front wheel come undone. Killed a tire and flattened a brake rotor. The sparks looked cool, though.

I'll have to measure everything tomarrow but my problem is mostly that the escalade rims won't fit over the hubs on the truck.

I was only thinking about the 1/4 in ones. I am not going to use any 2 in or more. I'll put them up on ebay and start over if that is the case.

Re: Wheel Spacers

Stay away from spacers greater than 1/4". Adapters on the other hand.... are ok until about 3".
