another wheel ???
I have found a set of 18" 6 lug budnik rims with tires for a super price. Will they fit on my 70 chevy 6 lug hubs? I will be changing over to front disc brakes very shortly. I would hate to miss out on this deal if they will fit.

My plan was to low it with drop spindles and change to 5 lug hubs, using GMCPaul's front disc conversion kit,but if these 6 lug wheels will work I'll get the 6 lug disc brake set up.

I've heard all six lug trucks up to 2000 are the same 6x5.5 bolt pattern

They will probably fit, but you should check it out before buying them. Most small trucks from Japan have 6-lug, but I'm not sure if they have the same bolt circle or stud size. Do you know what kind of truck the wheels were purchased for?

Cheyenne Super
the two industry standard bolt patterns are 6on5.5 and 6on4.5
the first is just about all the import trucks back to the mid 60s and virtually all 6 lug light duty gm trucks. the second is dodges dakota, durango and viper.

the backspacing might be way off though? most newer cars have the way less backspacing, or is it more? well the drums are farther apart, so on new cars the rims usually go farther back over the axle.

thanks for the replys. my biggest concern was the center hole of the rim. when i looked at them they looked too small. I'm going to measure everything today and see. again thanks for the help.
