oil pan gasket

What the best type of oil pan gasket out there to get?
What about a Milodon crushproof gasket?

I think maybe my problem is the front thick seal( rubber one).

I've had many problems with my truck leaking oil from the gasket, from what I've heard this is very common with Chevy 350'. I've had it changed along with an oil pump, and I've changed it once myself only to get fired-up after it still leaked and parked my truck in the garage. But, I'm really thinking about attacking it again.

Re: oil pan gasket

Everyone says that the one piece from Fel-Pro is expensive, but the best. That is what I will use next time. I have also heard a lot of bad things about cheap chrome pans leaking because they are poorly made. If you have one, that might be your problem.

Re: oil pan gasket

Get the Felpro one piece pan gasket. I did a couple years back, still no leaks in my 350 daily driver.

No chrome oil pan. thx

I'm picking up a one piece, I really can't have it leaking oil anymore. It's been parked in garage for over 3 months now. I really need to get it going with spring on the way and all. thx
