Re: Unreal !!
but why did he pull the front wheel off to show the stock rotor and caliper? usually you see guys do that that have 17" Brembos and whatnot....

Re: Unreal !!
I've seen it is person and I can guarentee you this, there is not another truck like it anywhere. Well over $100k invested and it shows. Everything is new. He sells the same stuff everyone else sells, only way less$$$. I'll bet the reserve is around $60k and whoever wins it is stealing it!! BTW why do people always put up an ebay post, then bash it? I am just curious, because this is a nice truck, but no brembos and the cheyenne emblem? I just wonder if you guys have certified show winners in your garage, or if you like down talking everyone else's rides to make up for yours?

Don't you know this is the internet, it gives people super powers to voice any opinion they wish without having to say it to anyones face...now it's my turn: $100k couldn't get the stock brakes upgraded? Just kidding, better than anything I have, that undercarriage alone with teh hammered finish looks like its worth it's weight in gold.

Re: Unreal !!
I have had a few show winning trucks over the last 30 years, none presently or probably ever again.I`ve outgrown that and have other priorities now. But,I still say as nice as I think that truck obviously is,it is foolish to mix up the model with the wrong year.It is what it ain`t and it ain`t what it is.It`s custom,I know. So,why put a model designate on it at all?Or,what`s wrong with CST/10?I think a little detail like that kills it for me and I stand by that.More power to ya if it means nothing to you.I don`t dislike the truck, but if you`re going factory trim,go factory trim.If you`re going custom,go custom. Why not the Chevrolet scriptfrom a`67 Camaro or something?(one of my show winners did)
BTW,I`m not too shy to say things to people`s faces.I don`t think anyone was coming down too hard on that truck, really.Personally I think it`s worthy of a wheel-off display.Anything to raise those legs.Sorry if I struck a nerve there 70RS/SS,I`ll be gentler from now on.It`s just an opinion.

Re: Unreal !!
I've bought parts from him. Great guy, good to talk to, and super prices.
No one was bagging on his work or trucks when he was selling new dash pads for 40 bucks on here. Everyone else was getting 65 bucks at the time.

Re: Unreal !!
Looking at a truck like that is what keeps me from putting a for sale sign in the windowof my 69. it makes me deal with all the issuses from an old truck.

Re: Unreal !!
I may be off base but when I saw the tire off, I assumed it was to allow a larger viewing area of the undercarriage as seen in the relective metal.
