I just picked up a 71 short bed 4x4 that has a flatbed on it. I'd like to find a short fleet bed for it within driving distance. I go to Reno often, so Cali's not out of the question. I don't really need a tail gate. I have a very nice long bed box, if that helps.
I've heard people talk about cutting down a long bed and putting new side skins on it. Any info on that would be appreciated.

You might try this place. I stopped by there about 6 months ago and he had about half a dozen short fleet beds. He has a huge warehouse full of 67-72 parts. His prices are a bit steep though.
