gen light help
HELP! I just replaced my old alt and bypassed the old regulator on my 72step.Problem is now the gen light is on without the key being on .As soon as i connected the battery the light popped on fire up truck light stays on . Any solutions?

Wired wrong. Do search on internal regulator.

you need to run the brown wire from the regulator to the 2 pin connector on the alt.
