ARE 6 CYL engine stands the same as sball blocks ones

ARE 6 CYL engine stands the same as small blocks ones????

i thought ive heard this before can any body verify please

250 stands are very much loke small block ones, but they are a little bit taller IIRC. The 292, will have one 250 stand, and one stand all it's own.

see that i knew i didnt know everything about these trucks

one more question that leads me to

other than looking at the engine stands how do i tell what size 6 cyl it is

Look at the side covers on the passenger side of the engine by the distributor.

If they are 4 inches tall, it's either a 230 or 250.

If they are 6 inches tall, it's a 292.
