Electric Windshield Washer for 67-72---FS/New
After a lot of questions about how to fix our WS washers, I have put the complete kit together to convert to "on demand" electric washers using all the stock connections...no cutting or damaging the stock wiring or switches.
Included: pump, hose connections, wires & connectors and simple directions for easy hookup. This is easier to install than replacing the stock pump, that is buried up under the dash on the wiper motor. When installed, it uses the stock wiper switch, so there are no extra switches in the dash. You can probably figure something out yourself, but if you don't want to spend the time up under your dash designing your own, then this should save time and errors. I will box & ship these sets to you (lower 48) for $30. |

Re: Electric Windshield Washer for 67-72---FS/New
Another great idea at a fair cost Frank. Is the wire harness setup to travel back to stock pump/motor or to the back of the wiper switch? Are wires long enough to be able to be routed "out of sight"? I assume pushing stock swithc/button still activates pump. Any comments on pump push and volume?
Maybe a couple more pics of installed unit and parts in package could help.

Frank, I will take one, can you give me a shipping quote, and I would like a pic of the screw ends coming through the fender.
Just kidding please e-mail your address and I will send $30 for an electric windshield washer shipped. You are a real stand-up "Vendor".

Re: Electric Windshield Washer for 67-72---FS/New
So this kit would replace my washer/wiper completely? Mine still wipes but it does not spray. Does this replace both the wipe and spray or just one.

Re: Electric Windshield Washer for 67-72---FS/New
mb: re-read the original post at the top for an explanation. It replaces the washer with an electric pump, instead of the magnet/cam/valve assy that is part of the oem wiper motor...you know, the one that never works...it just clicks over and over.

Re: Electric Windshield Washer for 67-72---FS/New
Will these work with the intermittent wiper delay switch that many of us got from Putter???

I don't think they will work with the non-stock delays. They are designed for the stock/OEM switch and wiring.
