Good Junkyard Day

Went home from School in Lincoln this weekend and decided i would visit the junkyard so i could take some stuff back to work on. Walked out of there in an hour with an unlocked a/c compressor with 3 brackets, 1 is still attached to the compressor. Funny thing was i opened up the hood to this truck after seeing that it was an air cab and the compressor was already out with the brackets laying by it. I think i am only missing one of the a/c brackets. Im pretty sure im gonna have to scrap my headers if i am gonna make the air work, but i prefer the stock look anyway. I also got 2 sets of the outside seatbelts (with the plastic cover things) that match my truck so i could make 1 set of good ones. The plastic is dirty but will look prefect when cleaned. The Last thing i got was a replacement side mirror because i broke the old one backin out of my garage. Got all this for 90 bux and i think i got a decent deal.

Re: Good Junkyard Day

Do you go to that yard south of Lincoln? I think its call Watts or something like that. I got some single AC brackets, may have the ones you need. Thanks Randy

Re: Good Junkyard Day

Yea the only bracket i need yet is the one listed as the "bracket compressor adjustor part #10" in the LMC catalog. Its the one that hooks on the top rear of the compressor. How would i have to mod the rear compressor mount? Or where would i get the mount the works with my headers. Yea Watts is the place i grew up a half hour away from there, and only a year ago discovered it. I swear that old guy is sitting on a goldmine if he would take parts off and put them on ebay, or advertise, or something because he has tons of stuff.
