Man 2 for 2, you think just like me, posted this along time back, they are
making them for me at our company's fab shop out of SS (Orange in pic) They will be smoother than the pic, and they will be tapped from under.

Re: Bed rails with top off. Help!!!!
Why the need to cover them up?
Other than to hide the scuff marks from the top? Consider them 'beauty' marks. ![]() It's kinda amazing how nobody ever really notices them. <hint |

Well mine is more of a show truck if you know what I mean and I am very picky. I really like what the other guy is building for his were the rails match up with the doors. Looks a little odd when the gap is there from the bed to the top of the door. Thanks, Kade |

Re: Bed rails with top off. Help!!!!
You could always cut the doors down to match the rails, I WISH

![]() Would one of those fiberglass covers that go all the way over the rails work? Your probably looking for something more subtle. |

The cut down doors really look good, but then again, they limit you to sunny weather...

Re: Bed rails with top off. Help!!!!
That is the Specialty Top Co snap top. It is similar to the one I have on my '69, but it was made by Kayline, the precursor to STC. The sides roll up safari style. I have the STC Fasttrac Top on my '72, which has zip out windows.

Re: Bed rails with top off. Help!!!!
Sorry guys, I didn't mean to make anyone think that blazer was mine. It belongs to (or it used to I believe he has sold it...) Bobshotrodblazer. I kept the pics because he has done some neat mods to the blazer (sloped bach windshield, cutdown doors, 67 hood with 71 grill molded into front fenders, etc.)
Here's a link with more pics http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=159318 Sorry if I mislead anyone, none of my trucks are this nice! Rg
