ROAD TRIP...LOL! Great buy! My wife thanks you for buying that motorhome since she did not want to see it in the pasture along with my other unfinished projects! I am about 1.5 hours south of Marysville in Kent, WA. You have guys all along the I-5 corridor through Washington and Oregon.

Re: road trip from bakersfield ca. & marysville wa.
I've done that a couple of times. Just get in the truck and start driving...fix it along the way. Just like Cap'n Ron used to say..."If she's gonna fail...she's gonna fail out on the open sea...let's go for it!" Fuel filters, fuel pump, fan belt, oil, steering fluid, tranny fluid...fix-a-flat. You know the routine! Jack and jack stands. I have a couple of 8-lug spares you might be able to use...or is that that the 10-lug C30? Do a fluids service before you go and say a prayer. How are the brakes on that thing?
Sign up for motorhome towing insurance before you leave. It is not that expensive and can be a real life saver.

Perfect timing, you can hit the swap meet at Puyallip on the way home since it is on your way. Only a few miles off the I-5. Good luck and hope to see ya there.

Re: road trip from bakersfield ca. & marysville wa.
What route are you taking (I assume 99 north to sac, and then I-5 into oregon and washington?)
I am located in Benicia, (near San Fransico) and If you have trouble between Sacramento and Modesto, I may be able to help... |

We can probably get you out of Seattle and Tacoma. I think we should give you a big send-off from the swap meet in Puyallup.
lazyguard...you coming down for that one? We should have another NW Chapter meeting there!

Re: road trip from bakersfield ca. & marysville wa.
Roger just hopped in it and took off today (friday) around 4:00pm. He's going to find out in a hurry what Seattle traffic is all about on a Friday. I'm sure glad he has all this support. Good luck and look at everything as an adventure, Dan

Re: road trip from bakersfield ca. & marysville wa.
Dan, Didn't you get any pictures of him departing? What did he drive up and did he have help or tow his driver back? Have you heard anything from him yet? Anybody hear anything? We talked about him at the swap meet today and wondered how he was doing.
