Free carb...

Well, i got what I think is a '60's Carter. Guy at work just gave it too me, he was gonna toss it. He said he thinks all thats wrong with it is float level. Bout to dig into it.
Now I know these are very much like the Eldebrock, but there's some odd things on this one.
First. look at the back, and some of the odd corners and shapes on this thing...kinda funny looking.

Is this the model number? It kinda looks like one, but doesn't. It says LO 4966S ...could be L0 4966S, but who knows...
It had small primarys and secondarys...not even sure if it is of value to me or not.

well other longhorn dude, (wait, that's on the other board..) I am going to Kalimazo next friday to pick up a free Caddy 500 and TH400. The engine is complete minus carb and oil...the carb, becouse he wanted it, and the oil becouse it won't hold it anymore...not with the holes in the pan from connecting rods taking a lunch break at abou 6000 RPM or so.
Ither than that, I have not done anything but go out and pull the tarp off of it every once in a while and lick it a little before going to bed.
