Not my style but wow, what I step back into the past. If that picture is new then that truck looks in outstanding shape.

Man, what a time capsule that is. I would love to see the rest of his pics. Anybody care to guess at the final price? It's at $3100 now.

Re: 1972 Blazer Feathers (ebay)

Maybe even higher, that optioned blazer is definately worth more. Couldn't have been more then 100 with that option. Not to mention that it's un mollested and all original besides some puny wheels. 18k-20k

All that needs is an 8-track.Probably the only Blazer with "feathers" and body intact and worth preserving. If there`s a GM museum,it belongs there.

Unreal. I'd love to have that one.

It looks like it must be a Highlander too based on the tilt column and plaid seat inserts.

Re: 1972 Blazer Feathers (ebay)

Is that a new option on ebay allowing seller to end early when reserve is met? I've seen it a couple of times recently. Seems like a way for buyer and seller to agree offline on how deal can go down.

Re: 1972 Blazer Feathers (ebay)

Although e-bay has guidelines and rules, the seller and a buyer are the one's who ultimately make deals. This is still a free country and you can basically do what you want to do with what you own. I have ended auctions early do to local sales of items I have had listed but I always say that in my listing so that potential buyers realize that the auction may not go to it's ending date and time. Believe e-bay now has a "make your best offer to buy it now" which can end an auction early which makes sense for all parties.
This Blazer is very unusual in that it has all it's rare decals intact. I have seen original decal sets on e-bay but would expect them to be dried out and probably useless. I would love to have it but would rarely drive it which kind of makes it a garage queen which I don't need or want. If you can't drive it---just looking at it gets old after a while.

Re: 1972 Blazer Feathers (ebay)

I find it frustrating that ending early is allowed, but it is. I figure that if you decided to pay to have it listed and advertised on e-bay, then you should go through with the auction.

When people offer to buy vehicles from me outright during the auction, I add $1000 to what I think it will go for. Haven't had anybody bite yet, but then again, it is an auction.

When I see "selling locally", I read it as "please contact me and offer me a buy it now price." I usually go on to other items.

Small highjack here, but I actually like that feature. Makes sniping at the last minute more difficult.

I hate ebay snipers.

edit: also, I like it because I can end the auction when I think I have a good bidder that will seal the deal. I've had alot of dead wood on auctions lately. I also say kudos to the seller for NOT holding out for "more".
