Progress made finally

Well I finally got home from Iraq and could begin the work on my truck. Installed a 600 carb in place of a 650 that was giving me fits. Dropped the front 3 in and back 4 in new shocks all around and installed the sway bar and adj. track bar from CPP. Got new tires and put in some Memphis Audio 6x9's under the seat. Going to pick up a new bed this weekend and should have more to come.

What is your new bed? That one looks pretty good. If you need to get rid of it

Re: Progress made finally

The truck will stay step side something about step sides to me it gives the truck more character. The old bed has a steel plate welded in the bottom over the wood and would cost me more time doing body work then its worth to me. Plus the drivers side fender has the spare tire dimple which I cant stand. Shocks and relocaters from CPP I think the shocks are the Doestech or something like that. I curently call FT Stewart Ga home but in a year it will be different who knows. Hopeing to get closer to some of you regulars so I can pick your brains in person. From me and all my soldiers your very welcome.

Thanks for your service. Welcome home. Nice truck. Any rumble from the exhaust? I had a similar set up once.
