Suburban Rear Bumper?

Hey guys!

I got my step box installed tonight (have pics tommorow!) but now I realize just how ugly and un-sightly the hitch on this thing is,

I wanna put a suburban style rear bumper onto the truck, but don't know what is involved with doing as much.

Anyone have any experience?

Re: Suburban Rear Bumper?

The stepsides use a sport bumper that is narrower than the fleetside sport bumpers to match the narrower box. The bumper itself is the same for 67-87, the brackets are the same 73-87. The stepside bumper and brackets are different from any of the fleetside stuff.

Re: Suburban Rear Bumper?

Ditto on what beater said. Stepside bumpers and Burb/pickup/Blazer bumpers are NOT the same nor are the brackets.

Re: Suburban Rear Bumper?

I have seen some 78-87 ElCamino/wagon bumprs on the rear of steppers, and it looks decent. The taillamps are made into the bumper, too.
