Thumbs up Ordered the first parts for my Jimmy!

I'm so excited! . I feel like it's Christmas! I placed my first order for parts for my Jimmy yesterday. Rocker & floor patch panels, new body mount kit, new weatherstripping. I can't wait for it to arrive. Anybody give me some pointers or advice or warnings on what to do with the patch panels or body mounts. I've been checking out threads on the subjects, but only found threads on the body mounts. Will be photographing as I go & will post em. Thanks for the help & wish me luck!

Re: Ordered the first parts for my Jimmy!

Congrats and good luck! The link below may help. I have some pics of the work I have been doing as well as pics of other peoples work. If you think of a specific area you need help with, or a picture of, let me know. (I'm not a pro, but I have tackled some of this and I'm still working at it)

Hopefully your jimmy isn't as rotten as mine!

Re: Ordered the first parts for my Jimmy!

Thanks Ragged & Luv, I've checked out his photo album as well as 71Restrod's. Very helpful pics & I've noticed ther are quite a few helpful folks on this here forum. I've got a buddy here in town w/a 70 Blazer that is going to give me a hand since he's done some of the stuff I'll be doing. His is a work in progress also. I should take some pics of his & post them along w/mine. Thanks again fellers!
