Little more done this weekend...

Well I'll try again, sometimes I get some dufuss in front of a 80s mustang and I dont have any idea why. IF it works, this my "as I bought it" stage...

It's Camaro, not Camero!

Re: Little more done this weekend...

Geez! The pictures look fin when I first post em, thats why I put two on here, but when I refresh all I get is napoleon dynamite!
The pics. are in my gallery @ ol skool rodz but for some reason they dont work here. I will figure out a way to get them somewhere else and see if I can get a few on here. I have done a lot of work to this truck (the one in my av) and would like to show it. I'm not just screwing with yas really.

Re: Little more done this weekend...

Till you get it figured out give us a link instead of published pictures. I want to see your pickup not the mustang. BTW your gallery hosting service labels the pic as "LOSER"

I went to check out your gallery and this is what I got

"You must be a registered user to view images!

Try Photobucket or Webshots instead of OldSkool. Doubtful you will get us all to register there.

A shot of the inside, even the original AM radio works! I think the only thing that has been changed is the plugs, hoses, and belts. Till I got it!

Thank you, I paid almost as much for them as I did the truck! lol

They are 1958 Cal-custom finned covers that have been powder coated.

I just got another set of black powder coated covers with hand painted "V8"
and flames that Im gonna put on her cause they have the breathers, and its nice not to have to take off a cover to change oil!

Re: Little more done this weekend...

I'd scoot that fuel filter over just a tad. But that's just me. Cool valve covers. I slapped on a set of finned edelbrocks on mine. They look sweet old skool! Keep up the nice work.

Re: Little more done this weekend...

Totally ou t of curiousity here, because I don't know... do you get enough air into the carb with that breather on there? It looks small.

Re: Little more done this weekend...

Well I took off my trim the other day. Now I am waiting on my new mirrors. When they get here I will will start filling all the holes. I think I am going to get some metal disks and just duct tape em behind the holes then tack weld them, grind/sand flush then use body filler. I will use a punch to knock out the first couple I weld in to make sure I am getting good penatration. Never done this before so we will see what happens. I will take a few pics if someone wants. I hate taking pictures when I'm working, but I love seeing build pics others take....go figure, lol
