Attention all BB Crate owners...?

I've been scrapping a saving money in order to pay of all credit debt. I'm there and ready to charge it back up. I am going to get a 454 G.M. crate (425hp) and tweak it a bit with the usual mods.
What I need to know is...
1. Which accesory bracket setup did you use( steering pump, alt, a/c etc.)?
2. Which pulley setup? ( March, seprintine? etc.)
3. Where to get BB brackets?
4. Any personal experience with the swap/ install, in the way of " I sure wish I saw that coming"

Feel free to move to engine related, just wanted to get it to the masses...Thanks
Jake

I don't have a BB, but if I was gonna do what you are doing. I would try to get a serptine set-up from a late model truck. But, that's just me.

Have a 502 in my 71 that had a 400 BB so it already had all brackets. You should be able to get these at a GM dealer. Did not have to change anything--just a drop in. ( had to install a electric pump as 502 does not have fuel pump boss) Heddman Headers--2"X3"--fit perfect. Will show some pictures of installed motor when I get the photos uploaded again.(computer crashed)
P.S.--be sure to buy stock in a tire company if you get one of this motors.
