Well I sold my '84 today...

I was telling my buddy at the local body shop a while back that I was thinking about giving up on my 84 for a while & finishing up my 69. He's kept asking me to sell it to him & I decided I would. I kept the 396 & the new tires & wheels & sold him the new 350 thats in the 69.
We towed it there today & pulled the big block out & will be swapping the other tomorrow. He was telling me all the things he is going to do to it & Im actually glad to see something good happen to it instead of just sitting in my garage. I told him I would post his progress here for you guys to see. He said something about suicide doors too. Have any of you seen it done on a 73-87? Any tricks to it?...corn

Re: Well I sold my '84 today...

Sounds like good plan for both trucks.
It'll be interesting to see progress pics of the 84 as well as the 69.

I think I've seen a pics of a truck and a 'burb with suicide doors, but I can't remember where. Check out the how-to section of the ***************** site. They have a nice instructional write-up on suicide doorin' a S-10. BTW, their suicide door kit goes for 'bout $400.

Good luck on your 69 build-up...
