How bad do I need this??
This is the crossmember thats about 1-2feet behind the cab on my GMC 77K1500...both side are like this...
I was wondering if anyone sells this part, or if its really even needed...The crossmember itself is fine, and about 60% of the frame is ORIGINAL paint, and about 40% surface rust, not even really any of that flaky stuff.

Thanks, but I have a couple other frames I can take the parts off of, I was just wondering if any place carried new ones...the other ones I have are in good shape, but the frames they are on are shot, go figure.

Update! Just took the braces off my 86...that frame is almost rotted through, and these things are in perfect condition. Going to the store to get bolts, then a little POR-15 and one step in fixing this truck will be done!
