WTB: Good running 250 engine on east coast
I may be looking for another engine for a new project I just got.
Does anyone have a good running 250 6 cyl near New Jersey for sale. Thanks. |

Re: WTB: Good running 250 engine on east coast
How long before you'll need it? I have one in my truck now but I need it to get it in and out of the garage - slight uphill drive. In the next 2-3 months, swapping in a 454. This thing is fantastic running after about 3 minutes warming up. Idles VERY low and smooth. I have no idea of the actual mileage on it (maybe 180k or more!) - or the value. I was actually considering rebuilding and selling after I finish the truck to make back some moola.

I've got one in ON, about 90 minutes north of Toronto. Ran real good 2 years ago, probably too far away from you though.
