Pics of my new 79 GMC Jimmy 2wd

Hi all,
here is my 79 GMC I just had shipped to Auckland , New Zealand. I bought it from only seeing 5 polaroid pics of it and having a kiwi guy check it out once in Los Angeles. A bit of a risk!
Has a GM Goodwrench 350 with only 8000 miles and a 700R4 trans. 1999Tahoe leather seats.
Found the original owners manual in the glove box with the dealers name and first owners details. Folded up in the last page was the build sheet with all the RPO numbers and options. Fantastic!!! I am now the coolest dude in my area, well , at least me and the kids think so.....

What do you think of it?

NZCP...looks like you got a diamond there. My 79 is trashed but i don't mind doing a full body off anyways. I have one to many K5's currently so keep me in mind if there's something you need for her i can rob for your K5. I like helping out the overseas crowd.

I have a 2000 3rd row suburban seat ( built in diagonal seat belts ) that I want to mount as a 2nd row seat.

I have a set of Eagle Alloys to go on.

Best of all I am going to put a set of side exhausts on it!

I would like to find an intermittent wiper system - They were a factory option according to the manual.

Doug

Thank you very much for the offer of parts. Basically there are no blazers/jimmys being parted out here. If there are any you have to be in the area to even know about them. I will give you an email as I do have a question.

Thank you
Clive

Very wicked truck man!

I betcha you get some interesting looks with the truck having the steering wheel on the wrong side of the truck

Have passengers going to get into the driver's seat all the time, LOL

We've got an exhange student from New Plymouth here, she is constantly going to the driver's side of my truck when we go somewhere :P
