Question what have i got?

I have a 72swb and was told when i bought it was a 350. the fender sticker says it came with a 292 6 cyl which is out, and the vin # shows it as an originally a stepbed that has now been changed to a fleetside so i have to ask can anyone id this engine code?
VO523TCK underneath that is
12W371429
any help would be appreciated

My book shows TCK is a '73 307. Does is have a 2bbl carb still on it?

No, it had a edelbrock 600 that got stole along with the cap and wires, ripping a wire out ot the dist. so i replaced it with a factory aluminum 4bbl intake and a holley 600.

What factory aluminum manifold do you have?Is it from the GM Performance Parts catalog?

Go to www.chevymania.com and it will have all the casting numbers you need. I have a printed copy in my truck at all times for those "yep it's a real corvette motor" moments. Good luck with your search.
