wheels

I'm looking to some ideas for wheels for my 72' c-10 fleetside. I've lowered it by 3" and want to know what will fit. 15" now but will 17" fit. Let me know...bossrod (pics if available)

Re: wheels

I just installed 2" lowered springs in the front, and 3" in back. I have 17" stealth wheels with P255 60 R 17's on all 4. The backs scrub just a little if I hit a bad hole in the road. Nothing to worry about that I can see.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: wheels

Thanks, it's in need of a paint job bad. It's been 1991 since I had it painted and it's in bad need of a one. The reason for the new springs was the other 2 had broke. I guess the heat and 15 years of driving it finally did it in. Passenger side was in 3 peices when I took it out, driver's side was in 2.

Re: wheels

Check out www.coyswheel.com or www.buywheelstoday.com I got the 18" x8.5" Reaction Fat 5 that are on my 72 GMC from buy wheels today, thru ebay. Fit good. Just needed 1/4" spacers in the rear, that came with the wheels. Also came with Kumho tires for $1300 or so.
