GM later model steering column Question
I broke a key off in my 78 Chevrolet steering column today.
 , in an effort to retieve the broken piece i removed the locking mechanism ( the outer chrome piece with two flanges where the key goes) I cant seem to get it back in place. Are there any tricks to it, or do I just need to use a bigger hammer?
