17" tire size?
Okay, I have searched and searched.
I am going to lower my truck. 5" in the rear, and 3" to 5" in the front, probably go 4" in the front. I am going to run 17" x 8" wheels all around. What size tires can I run? I was thinking 255/50 all around, but they seem hard to find. What about 235/55 on the front and 275/60 rear, for that old school look? Truck is a 1986 1/2 ton short bed fleetside. |

Re: 17" tire size?
I got my tires from Discount Tire Direct. Do a search for NITTO brand tires. Look for the NT-450 series. They make a 255/50-17 and a 275/50-17. Very affordable tires.

Are those the sizes you are running? Is that on the blazer?

Yes. The fronts are 17x8 and the rears are 17x9.5.

Thanks for the info, you don't happen to know what backspacing is on your wheels do you?

Just my avatar pic. All my other pics were lost when my computer died. Hope this helps.

Re: 17" tire size?
Thanks. Looks good. I've always been a big fan of that model blazer, but they are very rare in my area.

Re: 17" tire size?
255/55 17's also work.
I've seen all sizes on a C10, and personally, the 255/55's look the best, IMHO. 255/45's have too little sidewall, and 275/50 have to much. |
