Need help...
A buddy has a 250 I6 and here's the problem. It revs fine as long as it is not in gear, or if you floor it(it will just die then). But as soon as you go to drive it, it bogs down really bad in all 3 gears(3 on the tree). It also doesn't idle smoothly, it "pops". Anyone have an idea? thanks

It sounds like a spark advance problem to me. It sounds like it is definately in the distributor. Is he running HEI, or points?
