5 lug conversion?

I just put down a deposit on a front crossmember from an '87 suburban 2wd, but i neglected to notice if it was the 5 lug or the 8 lug. I dont think the chances are too high that it is the 8 lug, but i wont get it until tomorrow to know for sure. Whats involved in changing the 8 to 5 lug if I need to. Is it as simple as swapping the rotors? Thanks for any info.

Interesting --rockauto does not list a rotor or drum for a 87 C10 suburban

but they do for a c20 suburban and wasnt too sure about the brain power of the guy at the wrecking place I got it from. But all is well. It showed up with five lugs so it's the right one.
