Thumbs up Spray bomb detailing

I know some of you kinda laugh to yourselves about this whole subject, but this Testors model spray paint is awsome. The pic doesn't do it justice.
It actually looks like it was powder coated.

I'm not laughing. I did most of my truck with a spray can-- inside of my cab, everything under my hood, door jams, under coating, and nobody is the wiser until I tell them. Actually, I painted my Harley with spray cans a few months ago. They have that paint that changes from purple to green in a spray can now-- expensive, but it looks good with a clear coat.

I need to thank you for an idea. You posted a pic for me on your gauges that you painted a white back ground.

I liked the look , and it gave me the idea to paint my speedo and fuel gauge silver, and the needles flourescent orange. They will now match the autometer cometition silver gauges that I am installing into my new bezel.

I will post pic once complete. I painted the speedo and fuel gauges , and they came out pretty good.

Where can I pick up a few cans of the tester's paint? Will it work for the interior?

Wall Mart, in the model car section. (other wise known as toy section)
They are the little tiny cans and cost like 4 bucks. But as far as quality, you really can't beat it.
