starter help please
Need to replace the starter in my 71 chev w/305. read somewhere that you can use a starter from a S-15, but cannot locate info I need any ideas?

due to where the starter is situated, the exhaust is right there.

I know what your talking about, but I can't find the old thread. I believe the starter your looking for is from a late 80's early 90's S-10 and I think it had to be a 4x4 starter. Be patient and someone who knows for sure should chime in eventuelly
