WTB - FM Label For AM/FM Radio

Anybody know where I can buy the little rectangular "FM" label for the front of a 1972 AM/FM radio?

I've bought them from the truck shop (California) before. I can't find the link though.

I was hoping that would be the case, but I took it apart last night, and it wasn't in there.

I'll give them a call. I don't see it in their catalog, but you never know. Thanks.

Re: WTB - FM Label For AM/FM Radio

I found a place that sells them. Here's the link.

Dennis' Chevy Truck Parts

Dennis emailed me and said that this is the part number:

1259, slide bar drum decal for $8 each.

That sounds more like it would be the sticker with the numbers on it that sits behind the station selector needle, but that's what I ordered, specifying that I needed the little rectangular "FM" label, and this is what I got:

Re: WTB - FM Label For AM/FM Radio

I just finished installing the new FM label. It doesn't have a green tint like the original, but it's better than having a hole in the front of the radio. I should have replaced both the FM and the AM labels so they would match.

Re: WTB - FM Label For AM/FM Radio

I bought a set of these labels from the following eBay seller about a year ago. I don't see any listed for sale right now, but you might try contacting them.

https://www.ebay.com/str/stevesclassiccarsandparts

I posted some info on these labels in this thread:

Checked with the one seller on eBay that used to sell them but they don't currently have any listed. Waiting to hear back from them

Yeah maybe. I contacted the eBay seller that used to have them. They said they would get some up soon but it has been almost a month and they still haven't posted any. We used to have a radio repair place here but they quit doing old radios
