new to the 4x4 world, so bare with me.
I have found a 1977 military M880 1-1/4ton dodge 4x4 for sale and was wondering what if anything anyone can tell me about this truck? Can I use the front axle....is it even a pass. side drop? Will this even be a dana 60 front?
Also, what transfer case would this truck have? I believe it has a 727 automatic trans.

I am looking to put this on the truck in my sig.

It's nothing special, has a 44 front with unit bearings, and a 60 rear, IIRC a 203 case. Not really worth messing with.....

Gear ratio 4.10
the front axle is a passanger side drop
they are usually all the same but im sure everynow and then something unusual slipped by

thanks, its billed as a 5/4 ton.....but I guess that must just be springs huh? I was hoping the front would be a d60.....for $700 it was worth a shot.
