wheel spacer ?
i just got a nice set of 6 lug rims from a lexus suv. they look good on my c5 blazer. i need to add about 1-1/2" spacer to get them to fit. i know i should eat my vegetables, wear my seatbelt, and not use wheel spacers to compensate for backspacing. im running 6 lug drums in the rear 6 lug discs in the front. my main problem is that the rear wheels barely clear the joint at the wheelhouse/bed floor. are some spacers better than others? what are some of the differences? im gonna check ebay, i appreciate any advice before i bid.

Re: wheel spacer ?
Never seen a spacer that wide for sale.
Most are 1/2 - 3/4 but good luck in the search. Not sure I'd want to run one that wide, JMO. |

Re: wheel spacer ?
Orangeuavol has 1 1/2" spacers on the rear of his Blazer to make it even with the front. Can be purchased from different dealers --he found his on Ebay. Spacer bolts to drum with original studs--spacer then has studs already installed for wheels.

Re: wheel spacer ?
I think Orangeuavol has 1" spacers for a total of 2". My understanding is that the rear track is 2" narrower than the front.
Have you checked the front wheels to see if they clear the hubs? You may have to get them machined out to fit. Ya might check with someplace like Stockton Wheel to see if they can change the off-set on the wheels rather than run huge spacers.

when i looked on ebay i found hardly anything for trucks, what i found and posted wasnt the correct spacers... if some one sees a pair on ebay that would work feel free to post them up |

Re: wheel spacer ?
No worries. I just though the track was 2" different. For some reason, I had it in my head that he only had to use 1" spacers. Good to know.

Re: wheel spacer ?
I am thinking spacer have came a long way, but my first impression was inline with VT. I know for many years NHRA would run you off for having them on a car. At best, it would be an item I inspected regulary.

This guy makes them to adapt different # of studs to each other. It will also push the wheel out about 2 inches.
