engine build ques

OK, here it is entering springtime, and I am looking at my truck again. I have a 72 short step with a 327. As I look around the garage, I'm thinking about the set of alum L-98 heads and the ZZ-4 cam. I don't have the cash for the TPI setup(computer), so that may be next yr. Anyhow, what DO you all think about this setup. I hate to put the hours into it and it not run worth a poop. I have a small stall converter in the 350 turbo to help out some. It is a freshened up stock bore 327 also.

Thanks
Jeremy

Re: engine build ques

I am not sure what cam they are running in the zz-4. I know that the aluminum heads will work great on any motor you build. You should pm twotons. He does a lot of these and would be a great guy to ask.
