Fuel Lines Problem

Ok I got a fuel pump that has 2 inlets and 1 outlet. But my old one has 1in and 1out. So I figrued I got the wrong one. And then I see that I have two Lines from my gas tank going up the frame to the front of the truck. One goes to the fuel pump, but I couldnt figure out where the 2nd one went. Anyone know what the 2nd line might be for?
