Front crossmember...
Like an idiot,
 when i removed the front crossmember off my frame i tossed the bolts (they were junk anyway). Now its time to go back on and i would like to know what size the bolts were, leingth and width. Obviously i will be useing grade 8 hardware and this brings me to the next question, would it be smart to put lock tite on the threads or no, and also how much should torque them to?thanks in advance

Uh, you removed the '70 2wd truck's bolt-in engine crossmember/suspension cradle or the front crossmember which I thought was riveted in there? Another truck?
I'm easily confused.

not sure of the size, but locktite would be a great idea and common practice on bolts/nuts that arent removed often

YEEAAAAAAAHHH! I can help! I just replaced mine with 1/2" x 1" washer and lockwasher. I have about 3 threads hanging out the bottom of the nut. I took the old bolts to the hardware store and matched them up one by one per each size for my whole frame. There is plenty of room so if you want to go to 1 1/4" if your washers are thicker, no problem.
