1968 Ohio License plates for sale

I have a matching set of 1968 Ohio plates for sale here
In Ohio, if you register your classic with historical tags, you can run vintage plates that match the year of your classic upon aproval of the BMV once your plates have been inspected.
These plates will pass there inspection.
F 4424 is the plate number, which makes them car tags, truck tags started with a T, however, i doubt they would know that, nor care.
Or... if you like decorating your garage/shop/rec room/bed room with this kind of stuff... then they fall under the NOS catigory... Neat Old Stuff.

I am asking $25 shipped to your door.
PLEASE....no private messages nor E-mails to try and buy.
I accept money order, personal check, and I'll take cash, but I prefer not to.
No pay pal or any cool online digital payment.

How much are they without shipping?

Also, when you register your vehicle in this way, do you know if there are any driving restrictions like your vehicle can be driven to parades or attending car shows.

I ask this because I am building my truck to be a daily driver.

How does 20 bucks sound?
Technicly, you can not run them on a daily driver. However, we see it all the time. When my dad was a cop, he tried busting someone for it and the judge threw it out of court...and that was a mayor's court! (greedy little tiny town looking for every penny they could get there hands on)
However, it CAN bite you in the 12 bolt when you get in an accident. (on your way to work or what ever) They can charge you for no registration or improper registration, which, some insurance companys who always look for a reason to not pay out, could say if it wasn't licensed, then we can't insure it.... and it snow balls from there...but that IS worst case.
If I remember correctly, you can drive unlimited miles, but they have to be on weekends/holidays, for maintnance reasons, and for parade or club functions.

Thanks for the reduction in price and being honest about running them on a daily driver, but I will have to pass. I would rather be safe than sorry.

Someone told me that here in Oklahoma you can use the old plates and actually register with them and run them as dailys. I hope that is the case; I have almost found one for each of my years.

You can register and use old plates in Ontario too on a daily driver. I bought a mint set of 67 for my daughters boyfriend last Christmas. Boy was he happy. He is building a 67 small window short wide. Cost is $45.00 for DMV to trace and approve.

I wish Ohio would do it. I look at it as free revenue for the state.
They don't need to provide a tag...saved money
99% of the people who want to run dated tags, are wiolling to pay a little extra for the privlage.... more free money.

Re: 1968 Ohio License plates for sale

I live in Virginia. I have run vintage tags on every old vehicle I have owned. My state just passed a law that we can run these type of tags every day as long as we don't exeed 250 mile radious of our home per day. That is with out the yearly state inspection and county stickers. If you get the county sticker and state inspection then it doesn't matter how you drive it. By the way Longhorn Man, I will take the tags at $25.00 and I will send you a personal check in the mail. How do you want to go about this ?
Thanks,
Jim Bishop

You re forgetting that there is only a one time fee for using the model year plate which by the way can only be obtained after first registering as a historical vehicle. The plates are then good forever with no yearly renewal. Therefore, the State of Ohio loses its yearly fees.

Not if they use classic tags on daily drivers. You'd pay every year, just like with normal tags, plus a little more becouse we would be willing to pay more.
If you look at the post above the one that you quoted, you'd see i am responding to a post about useing them on daily drivers.
