my new toy installed

I built this myself for 30.00 and its adjustable. Maybe not as fancy but it works. Don't laugh at my brake line.

Re: my new toy installed

Jumping on the wagon here for "with what" - I just pulled mine off the other night and it looks to be bowed..... I don't think it's supposed to be??? What is the adjustment procedure to get it correct? (not bending mine straight but getting the bar to the correct length)

Re: my new toy installed

Measure from backing plate to framerail on each side and adjust the bar to make the distance even on each side.

You may have to use a ratcheting strap from the trailing arm to the frame to crank it over so the bolts will align to install it though.

Thanks Tx - Guess I have to buy an adjustable one or build the one Shortbed made here... can't adjust the bent one.

A racheting strap? Good idea, I always struggle with getting them lined up.
