Shortening Steering Column
Just read, in the FAQ forum, a how to on shortening a steering column. This was for a 67-72.
Does anyone know if this is possible for 73-87's?? Ever done it? Got a HOW To?? I'm 6' 4" and twohundredandtoomany pounds and could use the extra reach and belly room. (That, or convert to a crew cab and shove the seat back!) - Dave

Re: Shortening Steering Column
I asked the same question and no luck with a response. I don't need the belly room but I think it would look better and be a nicer reach when driving. I am currently trying to buy a used column and then start hacking. If I am successful I will post some info.
