Could you please do me a favor pleeeeeeeeeeeease?
1.)I want to know the distance from the ground to the center of the hub
2.)from the ground to the top of the front fender wel
3.)from the ground to the rear fender.

When I bought this rig i was told it has a 6" suspension and a 3" body.
I think it has a 4" suspension and a 3" body. I really want to know.

Thank you

Bone stock that is 33 years old is not going to get you accurate info. I have seen a post or two that says 6" but I/they think its 4" because it has a 4" block (total close to 6" lift). Well 4" is pushing it for a block height, so they usually do 2" spring and 4" block. As for being accurate, lift kits are said to be +/- 6" as trucks weigh different, settle etc (I6 vs SBC vs BBC). What is the "reason" you "need" to know if it is 4" or 6"? If the tires fit etc without rub why are the numbers important? I am just curious, I have a "Bone Stock" Blazer, except the tire size, so my measurements might not help.

You can measure from the top of your front axle to the bumpstop mount. Stock height measures about 8", a 4" lift about 12" and a 6" lift about 14".

Sorry, mine is bone stock except for the wheels and tires and lift. I can measure them for you if you want. It has 33x12.5's and factory slots. I think the lift is a 4 inch blocks in the back. Jeff.

Actually that would be a good referance as well. measure from the top of the axle housing (not the differential) to the bottom of the cross member just under the oil pan by the motor mounts. use the lowest point of the cross member.

I was told my rig has 9" but i think it's only 7".
Thanks

If you have blocks in the back how tall are they ? The blocks are usally 2'' shorter than the lift

Re: anybody have a bone stock 4x4 blazer

It measured 7.5 inches from the axle to the crossmember. The blocks in the back measured only about 3". So do I have a 3 inch lift?

Might do that. Personally, I'm not really concerned, it is what it is.
